HUMAN was founded in 2012 in a Brooklyn sci-fi bookstore by Tamer Hassan, Michael Tiffany, Dan Kaminsky, and Ash Kalb. As the Senior Director of Content Strategy reporting to the CMO, you are a high-energy leader who will create the narrative for each persona of the ideal customer profile across the buying stages and build compelling content to drive customer engagement. You will be working closely across the key functions within marketing (Product Marketing, Campaigns, Communications, Regional Marketing and Partner Marketing) to collaborate on the messaging and story to be told. The content will be leveraged across multiple communication channels to drive acquisition, engagement, retention and overall enthusiasm for HUMAN solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Overall ownership of Content Strategy Plan and Content Creation
  • Build and lead a team responsible for a steady flow of engaging content for new customer acquisition, expansion, cross-sell, retention selling motions.
  • Map out the customer journey and collaborate with product marketing on the key messages and value statements; create the narrative for each persona and compelling content by stage to lead the buyer to acquisition.
  • Content output will be leveraged by the campaigns team, regional and partner marketing teams
  • Ensure all communications and content are consistent with corporate voice
  • Content creation includes customer facing tools and provide support for sales/partner enablement tools
  • Work closely with other key functions to collaborate around Product Launches, Campaign Development and Corporate initiatives.

Who You Are:

  • 10+ years of experience and proven track record in developing and guiding integrated B2B customer facing content coupled with marketing/sales campaign knowledge (Cybersecurity experience preferred)
  • Experience in a fast paced, high growth B2B market (Cyber, Services, Software, Cloud Infrastructure, Networking).
  • Ability to think strategically and drive execution in collaboration with multiple, geographically dispersed groups – Global experience
  • Solid understanding of marketing GTM planning and demand tactics
  • Exceptional understanding of buyer personas and buyer stages
  • Passion, creativity, and expertise in customer storytelling (compelling narrative) and activation for customer scenarios (new acquisition, expansion, cross sell, retention)
  • Excellent project management skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow up
  • Exceptional relationship management skills – extensive experience working with remote and international teams
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively across the organization at all levels including Sr Leadership team
  • Budget management, program tracking and ROI
  • Strong results orientation and data-driven approach with excellent analytical skills to put data/insights at the heart of the strategy.
The base pay range for this position is $160,000- $190,000 which can include additional on-target commission pay/bonus. The base pay offered may vary depending on location, job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position ultimately offered.
