We are seeking a Senior Program Manager with deep expertise in Jira and Confluence administration, strong vendor management capabilities, and a hands-on approach to leading corporate infrastructure projects. This is a strategic role embedded in the IT and Security organization, responsible for driving platform management, Agile enablement, and compliance-focused initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly self-directed, solution-oriented, and thrives in dynamic environments where structure needs to be built—not just maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate team efforts across IT and Security for planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects.
- Lead and deliver cross-functional infrastructure initiatives such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP) upgrades and CMMC compliance efforts.
- Act as expert-level admin for Jira and Confluence—owning setup, permissions, workflows, automations, reporting, and platform improvements.
- Train and coach teams on effective use of Agile practices and Jira/Confluence functionality.
- Manage licensing, upgrades, usage metrics, access controls, and vendor relationships across key tools (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Miro, etc.).
- Coordinate infrastructure configurations and patches with platform vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Support contract management, renewal tracking, and administrative processes for IT-managed systems.
- Contribute to company-wide communications regarding infrastructure changes, procedures, and tool usage.
- Drive projects aligned to regulatory frameworks such as CMMC; coordinate documentation, team engagement, and system readiness.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of project or program management experience, preferably in IT, infrastructure, or security
- Expert-level Jira and Confluence administrator with strong hands-on experience in customizing, maintaining, and training others
- Strong vendor management experience: licensing, upgrades, renewals, and vendor negotiation
- Experience leading Agile implementations and teaching teams to operate in Agile workflows
- Proven success managing infrastructure and tooling upgrades with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with tools including Smartsheet, Mattermost (MM), Jira, and Confluence
- Exposure to cybersecurity compliance programs, especially CMMC, is a strong plus
- Strong communicator with ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to anticipate problems, design solutions, and execute with minimal oversight
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in IT program management, infrastructure support, or enterprise tool administration
- Experience with IT compliance or regulatory initiatives
- Strong documentation and internal comms experience
- PMP, CSM, or equivalent Agile certification a plus
Compensation
The annual salary range for this role as it is posted is $117,250 - $155,355. The final job level and annual salary will be determined based on the education, qualification, knowledge, skills, ability, and experience of the final candidate(s), specific office location and calibrated against relevant market data and internal team equity.
