About the Role

Claroty is seeking a driven, curious, and resilient SDR to help accelerate pipeline generation and support our continued growth across the APJ region. In this role, you will serve as a critical bridge between Marketing and Sales, identifying and engaging prospective customers across industrial, healthcare, commercial, and public sector organizations.

You will be responsible for outbound prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and building trusted relationships with key stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth cybersecurity environment, enjoys proactive outreach, and is motivated by measurable business impact and career growth in enterprise technology sales.

Responsibilities

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), your impact will be:

  • Research and identify target accounts, key stakeholders, and decision-makers across assigned territories and verticals
  • Execute outbound prospecting campaigns through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other engagement channels
  • Generate qualified pipeline opportunities for the sales organization through strategic outreach and discovery
  • Develop relationships with prospective customers by understanding their business priorities, operational challenges, and cybersecurity initiatives
  • Conduct qualification conversations to assess fit, urgency, and potential value alignment
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to prioritize outreach efforts and territory strategies
  • Partner with Marketing teams to provide feedback on campaigns, messaging, and market trends
  • Maintain accurate prospect activity, pipeline data, and engagement history within CRM systems
  • Stay informed on cybersecurity, OT/IoT/XIoT market trends, competitive positioning, and Claroty’s platform capabilities
  • Meet and exceed KPI targets related to activity, meetings booked, pipeline contribution, and opportunity generation
  • Contribute to a high-performance, collaborative, and customer-focused sales culture

Requirements

What you need to succeed in this role:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Sales Development, Business Development, or similar outbound prospecting role, preferably within B2B SaaS or cybersecurity environments
  • Native-level Japanese language skills and professional fluency in English
  • Based in Japan or Singapore and able to work effectively within APJ regional coverage
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across written, verbal, and virtual interactions
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively generate opportunities through outbound prospecting
  • High level of resilience, adaptability, and comfort handling objections in fast-moving sales environments
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement platforms such as Salesforce, Outreach, HubSpot, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Growth mindset with a strong desire to learn enterprise sales methodologies and cybersecurity markets
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Solutions Engineering teams
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
