  • Full-time

Description

About Classiq:

Classiq Technologies is a quantum software company based in Tel Aviv. We provide a full-stack platform (IDE, high-level language, compiler, and OS) for designing, compiling, and running quantum algorithms. Backed by 70 patents, our technology automates quantum programming and turns functional intent into executable quantum circuits. Our core compiler technology scales quantum algorithms from concept to implementation, making quantum software development faster and more practical.

As a Quantum Application Engineer on the Quantum Discovery Team, you'll lead the technical track of the sales cycle - helping customers with varying capabilities in the quantum software domain to evaluate, adopt, and engage with Classiq's quantum software platform. You’ll partner with sales to guide technical discovery and deliver customized demos that answer the customer’s needs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities and define technical engagement strategies
  • Lead technical discovery processes to understand customer challenges across a variety of domains (Finance, Automotive, Healthcare, and many more - all while using quantum information and quantum algorithm development expertise)
  • Build trust and lead customers to a decision through clear, compelling demos
  • Articulate complex quantum computing concepts to a range of technical audiences
  • Proactively identify new technical opportunities within customer conversations
  • Influence product direction by relaying field feedback from prospects
  • Maintain a library of reusable implementation assets and POC templates

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Research Engineer), or in a strategic technical position with strong cross-functional engagement (e.g., Product Manager, System Architect)
  • A Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Physics, or Electrical Engineering — preferably with a focus on quantum information), or a Master’s degree in quantum information or quantum computing, along with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience at a quantum computing company.
  • Deep knowledge of quantum computing principles, with hands-on experience in circuit design or algorithm development
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics clearly
  • Fast learner of state-of-the-art quantum algorithms
  • Native-level English fluency - spoken and written

Bonus

  • Experience with Classiq’s Platform
  • Experience with other quantum software development kits (Qiskit, Tket, or others).
