The Senior System Administrator of Enterprise Systems, reporting to the Senior Director, IT, will be responsible for leading our cloud-first SAAS technology environment. This role requires a strategic and technical leader who can ensure seamless operations, system reliability, security, and efficiency across all business-critical platforms, while supporting our organization's rapid growth.
What you'll do:
- Provide strategic leadership for all enterprise systems, including Atlassian suite, Google Workspace Enterprise, Slack, and Okta
- Develop and implement comprehensive system documentation and process workflows
- Manage system integrations, upgrades, and maintenance with minimal disruption
- Maintain best practices for system security, performance, and scalability
- Oversee identity and access management through Okta, with particular focus on Okta Workflows
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance
- Deliver responsive support and maintenance for Mac desktops, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise tools and configurations
- Manage macOS lifecycle management, including software deployments, security updates, and endpoint compliance
- Lead cross-functional projects from planning through execution, ensuring clear communication, timelines, and alignment across stakeholders
- Eagerness to collaborate with a team and provide a range of support services to all employees
Who you are:
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in system administration and enterprise applications
- Extensive experience administering Atlassian products, particularly JIRA and JIRA Service Desk
- Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace Enterprise management and administration
- Strong expertise with Okta administration, including demonstrated experience with Okta Workflows
- Proven experience managing Slack Enterprise environments
- Excellent documentation skills with ability to create clear process workflows
- Hands-on experience supporting macOS in enterprise environments, including deployment, configuration, and user support
- Familiarity with endpoint management tools for macOS (e.g., Jamf, Kandji, Mosyle) and best practices for security and compliance
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technology projects, including planning, stakeholder coordination, and execution tracking
- We are a Mac-First shop with no Windows endpoints or servers, this position will not manage any services related to Windows
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in high-growth startup environments
- ITIL certification or equivalent process framework knowledge
- Experience in the cybersecurity industry
- Cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Project management certification (PMP, Agile, etc.)
The base pay range for this position is $130,000- $160,000 which can include additional on-target bonus and/or incentives. The base pay offered may vary depending on location, job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position ultimately offered.
