The base pay range for this position can include additional on-target bonus and/or incentives. The base pay offered may vary depending on location, job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position ultimately offered.

The Director of Events owns the strategy and execution of our global events and experiential marketing program, internally and externally. . You’ll translate brand, go-to-market, and company priorities into experiences that drive pipeline, strengthen customer trust, and bring our culture to life.

From industry tentpoles and customer summits to Sales Kickoff (SKO), President’s Club, and executive offsites, you’ll make sure our most important moments are intentional, well-run, and memorable for the right reasons.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to turn moments into momentum with customers, with prospects, and with our own people.

What You’ll Do

Event Strategy & Ownership

  • Own the global events strategy across both external and internal programs

  • Define the role events play across brand, demand, customer marketing, sales enablement, and company culture

  • Set clear success metrics tied to business outcomes (pipeline, expansion, retention, alignment, morale)

Flagship, Tentpole & Internal Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end strategy and execution of major global events including:

    • Industry tentpoles (CES, Cannes, RSA, Black Hat, etc.)

    • Owned experiences (customer summits, executive dinners, roundtables)

    • Internal events (Sales Kickoff, President’s Club, company offsites, leadership meetings)

  • Ensure every experience ladders to a clear narrative, audience strategy, and intended outcome

  • Balance creative ambition with operational excellence strong production fundamentals and fiscal discipline

Team & Vendor Leadership

  • Build,lead and develop a high-performing events team (FTEs + contractors)

  • Own agency, production, and vendor relationships globally

  • Establish scalable processes, playbooks, and decision frameworks

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner closely with Brand, Product Marketing, Revenue Marketing, Sales, Enablement, Customer Success, People/HR, Communications, and Executive Leadership

  • Act as a trusted partner to Sales and People teams on high-impact internal moments

  • Advise executives on event strategy for high-stakes internal and external engagements

Budget, Operations & ROI

  • Own and manage the global events budget across all programs

  • Track ROI and impact for external events and effectiveness and outcomes for internal events

  • Identify opportunities to scale impact, improve efficiency, and reduce waste without compromising experience quality

What You Bring

  • 10–12+ years of experience in events or experiential marketing

  • Proven ownership of large-scale external events and complex internal programs

  • Experience leading teams and managing multi-million-dollar budgets

  • Strong creative instincts paired with operational rigor

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and executive leadership with confidence and clarity

  • Calm under pressure, decisive onsite, and deeply detail-oriented

  • Experience in B2B tech, cybersecurity, SaaS, or similarly complex ecosystems preferred
