About the role: interos.ai is seeking an experienced VP of Sales to manage its Sales teams (Commercial and Federal) during a pivotal period of expansion. This position suits a seasoned sales professional who has led high-performing enterprise sales teams and is prepared to take on greater responsibility, shaping both strategic direction and operational execution.
As VP of Sales, you will lead a team of enterprise sellers (both Commercial and Federal) while remaining closely engaged in AE coaching, deal strategy, pipeline development, and executive-level customer conversations. You’ll partner closely with company leadership to refine go-to-market approach, strengthen sales discipline, and build a repeatable, scalable revenue engine across supply chain–driven industries.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead and manage the sales organization, owning revenue performance, pipeline health, forecasting, and quota attainment
  • Coach and develop sales leaders and account executives across deal strategy, sales methodology, objection handling, and enterprise sales execution
  • Stay closely engaged in active opportunities, supporting deal reviews, executive alignment, pricing strategy, and complex negotiations
  • Develop and evolve the company’s sales process, ensuring consistent execution across prospecting, qualification, discovery, and close
  • Partner with executive leadership to define target verticals, ideal customer profiles, and account strategies within supply chain–driven markets
  • Drive operational rigor across the sales organization, including forecasting accuracy, CRM hygiene, and performance management
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Solutions Consulting, and Customer Success to align go-to-market execution and customer outcomes
  • Recruit, onboard, and scale high-performing sales talent as the business grows
  • Serve as a senior Sales voice inside the company, bringing market insight, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to leadership discussions
What You Will Bring:
  • 8-10 years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, including leadership roles such as Regional VP, Senior Director, VP or equivalent
  • Experience selling complex software solutions into Supply Chain, ERP, Operations, or adjacent enterprise domains
  • A strong personal background in enterprise deal execution, with experience managing multi-stakeholder, long-cycle sales processes
  • Demonstrated ability to coach sellers on discovery, objection handling, deal strategy, and closing complex opportunities
  • Experience leading and developing sales teams with a hands-on, execution-oriented leadership style
  • Working knowledge of modern sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, STC, Challenger, SPIN, or similar) and how to operationalize them in real deals
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment where leaders are expected to contribute both strategically and tactically
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage credibly with senior customer stakeholders and internal leadership
  • Experience with Public Sector sales cycles a plus
  • Highly motivated, determined, and resilient, with a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset and a strong sense of ownership

Compensation:
  • Base Salary Range: $225,000–$250,000 USD, depending on experience and location.
  • Variable Compensation: Performance-based annual bonus.
  • Equity: Stock options included as part of the total compensation package.

Work Environment, Location and Travel
This is a remote-first role open to candidates legally authorized to work in the United States. This position requires frequent travel.
