About the Role: The HR Intern will provide hands-on support across core People Operations, Talent Acquisition and office-related functions while gaining exposure to HR processes in a fast-growing technology company. This is a part-time role based in the Arlington, VA area and designed to support day-to-day HR operations, recruiting coordination, onboarding activities, and office administration.

What You’ll Do:
  • Support day-to-day HR operations, including employee file maintenance and HRIS data updates
  • Assist with recruiting coordination, including scheduling interviews and supporting candidate communications
  • Support onboarding activities such as new hire logistics, welcome materials, and first-day preparation
  • Source, review, and screen candidate profiles, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and interviewers to support an efficient, high-quality hiring process
  • Partner with the People team on employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs and gift coordination
  • Handle office-related responsibilities including checking physical mail, shipping and mailing items, and maintaining basic office supplies
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects and ad hoc initiatives as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information
What You Bring:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • Ability to work part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) during standard business hours
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently
  • Local to the Arlington, VA area and able to come into the office 3-5 days a week
Bonus Points For:
  • Prior internship or administrative experience
  • Interest in Human Resources, recruiting, or People Operations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools
  • Experience supporting office operations or administrative tasks

Compensation
  • Base Hourly Range: $25.00 - 30.00 USD (depending on experience and location)
  • Part-time position, approximately 20 hours weekly

We believe in rewarding great work with competitive, transparent compensation. Final offer will be based on skills, experience, and geographic location.

Work Environment, Location and Travel:

This is a part-time role based in the Arlington, VA area. While interos.ai is a remote-first company, this position requires regular (3-5 days) onsite presence at our Arlington, VA headquarters to support office-related responsibilities.
