Role Description

Premise is a worldwide data collection software platform which empowers companies, governments and aid agencies to quickly and efficiently gather data around the world through its network of 5 million contributors who are paid to gather data on our behalf.

We are looking for a Field Support Representative (FSR) who will be a key member of an outstanding Customer Success team based in Canberra, Australia. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging talent to leverage their skills and strengthen their knowledge and experience by working with a brilliant team of professionals.

Our successful candidate is one who aspires to make every client project a success. This person is not only technically savvy, but our FSR will bring an aptitude to navigate layers of detail and complexity and is always open to creative solutions.

What you get to do:

  • Coordination on the development of project plans, data collection strategies, task design, collection requirements and initial analysis of results.
  • Work directly with Premise’s client to integrate cutting edge technology and data collection.
  • Handle client inquiries & RFIs; lead the design and deployment of a wide range of tasks (surveys and observational tasks), with ownership of the user experience and ultimate data quality.
  • Determine correct sample sizes required to get meaningful and actionable results.
  • Conduct and/or organise client feedback efforts.
  • Perform analysis and data interpretation requested by the client in order to support their mission.
  • Support the development of process documentation, program metrics, and powerful visuals (flow charts, PPT visuals) for end customers.

Your background likely includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in addition to at least 3 years of full-time professional or military experience.
  • Evidence that you are analytically minded and data-focused and can think critically about offering and providing solutions.
  • Experiences where you have been a self-starter and able to own various initiatives from start to finish with little oversight or direction.
  • Time spent honing excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills (both for technical and non-technical audiences).

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working in, or supporting, Public Sector customers.
  • Experience with emerging technology and data-driven applications such as SQL, Tableau and the Google Suite.
  • Familiarity working with Leanplum, Google BigQuery, Periscope, and/or Amplitude.
  • Experience with user acquisition in developing countries.
  • Experience working in distributed companies or with international teams.
