Position Summary

Premise growing and we are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Global Head, Sales Development to lead and manage our Sales Development Representative (SDR) team. This person will play a critical role in driving our company's sales pipeline by overseeing the development and execution of effective outbound sales strategies. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of sales development practices, and a proven track record of achieving targets. Proficiency in SFDC, Salesloft, email campaigns, coaching outbound phone calls, and creating training plans is essential for success in this role.

***This is an onsite position based out of our NYC office daily.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and manage a team of SDRs to achieve and exceed sales development targets.
  • Develop and implement effective outbound sales strategies and campaigns to generate qualified leads and expand the sales pipeline.
  • Utilize SFDC (Salesforce.com) and Salesloft to track, analyze, and optimize SDR activities and results.
  • Provide coaching, training, and ongoing support to SDRs to improve their skills in prospecting, cold calling, email campaigns, and objection handling.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align SDR efforts with overall company goals and initiatives.
  • Monitor SDR performance metrics, such as conversion rates, pipeline generation, and revenue contribution, and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve SDR processes, tools, and workflows to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to sales development and incorporate them into the team's strategies and tactics.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, ensuring a high level of engagement, motivation, and professional development among SDRs.
  • Work closely with the recruitment team to attract, select, and onboard top SDR talent.

What You Bring Along

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales development, with at least 4 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales development targets.
  • Expertise in using SFDC (Salesforce.com) and Salesloft for managing and analyzing sales development activities.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in developing and executing successful email campaigns, outbound phone calls, and other prospecting strategies.
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills to effectively train and develop SDRs.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track and interpret key performance metrics.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities to effectively prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with creating and implementing training plans for sales development teams.
