Position Summary
Premise is growing, and we are looking to add a Data Acquisition Specialist to our high performing London team. Premise thinks differently about market research, an industry undergoing fundamental changes right now. We’re adopting technology around new data collection methods, geolocation and in-the-moment CX that will modernize how (and how deeply) companies understand their customers. What You Will Do
- Coordination on the development of project plans, data collection strategies, task design, collection requirements and initial analysis of results for Public Sector clients
- Work directly with Premise’s International Development and Public Sector clients to integrate cutting edge technology and data collection
- Lead the design and deployment of a wide range of tasks (surveys and observational tasks) to Premise contributors, with ownership of the user experience and ultimate data quality
- Determine correct sample sizes required to get meaningful and actionable results
- Conduct and/or organize client feedback efforts
- Perform analysis and data interpretation requested by the client in order to support their mission
- Onboard and configure Premise according to customer requirements
- Support the development of process documentation, program metrics, and powerful visuals (flow charts, PPT visuals) for end customers
Your background likely includes:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with some time spent working in a professional environment post degree
- Analytically minded and data-focused who thinks critically about offering and providing solutions to complex research questions
- Experience working in international development, foreign affairs, international relations, or public policy or experience developing and executing surveys or focus groups
- Able to own various initiatives from start to finish
- Verbal and non-verbal communication skills and that can be applied in a professional way.
- Enjoys collaborating with a team (either direct or across the business) to build on ideas taking on feedback and contributing to others
- Eagerness to dive into building user networks across a wide spectrum of geographies
- Experience living and working in multiple countries is highly desirable
If you have these additional experience, this would be a big benefit to the team:
- Experience with emerging technology and data-driven applications such as SQL, R, Tableau and the Google Suite
- Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Experience working in distributed companies or with international teams
- Fluency in French and/or Spanish highly desirable
- Master’s degree
