What this role is about:
As the Corporate Development & Strategy Associate, you will apply thought leadership, analytical skills, and business judgment to create narratives (via presentations, financial models, etc.) to help define strategic priorities, deliver operational excellence, and foster innovation and growth for RapidSOS. The Corporate Development & Strategy team uses strategic, financial, and operational frameworks to identify, develop and execute strategic acquisitions, projects, and operational initiatives in close collaboration with the Leadership Team. You’ll excel in this role if you enjoy wearing multiple hats, have an analytical mindset, thrive at solving strategic and operational challenges, and are mission-driven with a low ego.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and present materials which translate the learnings from research and analysis into an effective presentation and discussion materials for relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Own our growth model from the bottom up - Model revenue growth, track and model key SaaS metrics, analyze long-term margins, and conduct scenario analysis for critical investor and board reporting and to gauge business unit health
- Support the company leadership in executing strategic plans, facilitating relationships with prospective and current investors, managing board dialogue, and other special projects
- Collaborate with the sales, finance, and operations teams to track business success metrics and the build the associated forward growth plan including go-to-market strategy, new vertical development, and acquisitive strategy
- Assist in the development of strategic budgets and forecasts, providing specific, actionable, and forward-looking insight into the various changes as well as guidance on potential risk and opportunity items
- Provide ad hoc financial and operational modeling and business case analysis in areas such as M&A, strategic partnerships, new product development
- Conduct in depth research and analysis to develop strategy and plan for new vertical expansion
- Drive continuous process improvement, including working cross-functionally, to create repeatable, consistent best practices that enable scale
What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, consulting, or other similar fields
- Exceptional analytical skills; high attention to detail with polished visual, written, and oral presentation skills - fluency in Excel and PowerPoint

Starting pay for a successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include experience, relevant skills, training, education, location, business needs, or market demands. The salary range for this role is $105,000 - $120,000. This role will also be eligible to receive equity options.
