Saronic Technologies is a leader in revolutionizing defense autonomy at sea, dedicated to developing state-of-the-art solutions that enhance maritime operations for the Department of Defense (DoD) through autonomous and intelligent platforms.
Overview:
As we continue to grow over the next year, the demand for manual labor will increase, and we believe it would be beneficial to have one or two onsite technicians to help complete a variety of tasks. This role will support the facility by handling manual labor, assembly, and maintenance projects that are critical for production and overall operational efficiency replacing the need for outside vendors such a task rabbit. With production ramping up, this role will provide much-needed support as technicians currently pulled from the production lines will become less available.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly & Setup: Assist in assembling and setting up workstations and toolchests, including proper installation and organization. For example, the setup of 14 workstations, estimated to take approximately 3 hours per station, requiring an additional hour for proper taping and organization.
- Facility Projects: Take on additional in-house projects to help streamline operations and reduce costs. Projects may include installing equipment, organizing storage, assembling machinery, and general facility maintenance.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with facility management and production teams to ensure that tasks are prioritized and completed in a timely manner.
- Safety & Quality Control: Maintain a safe working environment, follow safety protocols, and ensure all tasks meet quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Strong manual labor experience, ideally in assembly, maintenance, or facility support roles.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to make minor electrical modifications or repairs.
- Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently without direct supervision.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when working on setups and installations.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on various tasks as needed.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools as necessary.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on safety and quality.
- The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, solution-oriented individual who can work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment. This role will play a critical part in supporting the facility’s growth and ensuring that production processes run smoothly and cost-effectively.
