Job Overview
We are looking for a Sales Operations Manager to drive the operational efficiency and effectiveness of our sales organization. This role is critical in managing the sales pipeline, supporting strategic decision-making, and enabling the sales team with the tools, processes, and insights needed to win. You will serve as the connective tissue between leadership, sales, marketing, and product to ensure alignment and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Management: Own and maintain the integrity of the sales pipeline (CRM hygiene, stage progression, forecasting accuracy).
  • Process Optimization: Standardize sales processes including qualification, pursuit, and capture to drive consistency and scalability.
  • Reporting & Insights: Develop and deliver dashboards, forecasts, and KPIs to sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Sales Enablement: Provide the sales team with tools, templates, collateral, and training to increase effectiveness.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with business development leads, marketing, production, and finance to ensure smooth handoffs and visibility.
  • CRM Administration (Non-Technical): Serve as the business manager of Salesforce (or other CRM), managing workflows, user support, and data quality—while coordinating with technical admins as needed.
  • Proposal Support: Coordinate opportunity reviews, deal desk operations, and proposal timelines in collaboration with capture teams.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or related roles OR compelling experience in consulting
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred
  • Strong command of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), reporting tools, and pipeline analytics.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams.
