Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and safety-focused Shuttle Driver responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently to and from designated locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong driving record with no moving violations (including speeding tickets or other infractions that negatively impact a driving record), demonstrate professionalism on the road, and prioritize passenger safety at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a shuttle vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations
• Transport passengers along assigned routes and schedules with a focus on smooth, safe driving practices
• Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations in a timely manner
• Assist passengers with boarding, luggage, and accessibility needs as required
• Maintain constant awareness of road conditions, traffic patterns, and passenger safety
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the shuttle vehicle
• Communicate promptly with dispatch or supervisors regarding delays, incidents, or route issues
• Provide a professional, courteous, and customer-focused experience for all passengers

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license (CDL may be required depending on vehicle type)
• Clean driving record with no moving violations, including speeding tickets or other infractions
• Proven safe driving history and strong understanding of defensive driving practices
• Previous professional driving or transportation experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm, alert, and professional in all driving conditions

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a vehicle
• Ability to assist passengers with boarding
• Good vision and hearing for safe vehicle operation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
• Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns
• First Aid/CPR certification
