We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to assist with ensuring information on our learner enrollment/finance system is complete and accurate to allow the accounting team to analyze and record revenue transactions. This role also assists in the reconciliation of collections from learners’ credit card payments.

Responsibilities

  • Processing learner refund/drop/transfer transactions
  • Process manual enrollment/installment setup and payment applications
  • Certifying learner loans to prior to enrolling students in classes
  • Setup of learner installment plans in the learner enrollment/finance system
  • Participate in kick off meetings for each class
  • Reconciling collections received from credit card processors
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g. Admissions) to ensure accuracy and completeness of enrollment and payment information in the ERP.
  • Compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Manage and drive ad-hoc projects as needed or assigned

Experience/Skills Required

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of accounts receivable or payable experience
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable processes
  • Proficiency with the financial systems (ERP) desired but not required.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications with intermediate or advanced Excel skills including the use of various formulas such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP
  • Strong organization skills and pay attention to details
  • Adaptable to an environment with frequent changes
