What You Will Do

This position is for the Front End team but involves full stack work in Javascript, GraphQL and Databases

• Work within a cross regional team, continuing to shape our product across boundaries
• Deliver excellent user experiences to customers through the vArmour User Interface
• Work with different components of the product to improve performance, orchestration and CI/CD etc.
• Create solid framework and components that other regional teams build upon for their feature development.
• Contribute with guidance and expertise in cross team engineering methods and practices
• UI Heavy work improving scale and performance of the entire vArmour application.

What you’ll bring

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience
• 6+ years in an senior engineering role
• An intellectual curiosity with a genuine desire to learn, and strong skills in mentorship and coaching
• A track record as a strong engineer, with continued interest in rolling up your sleeves and pitching in to demonstrate leadership from the front
• Expertise in working with GraphQL queries and using Apollo GraphQL libraries.
• Strong expertise in Web UI technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Node.js, Lerna, TypeScript, Webpack, Babel, Cypress, Mocha, Cytoscape and Jest
• Proficiency in at least one JavaScript framework like React (preferred), Angular, Svelte, VueJS or equivalent
• Experience with REST/JSON APIs
• Experience with Git and CI tools, along with Docker, Kubernetes and Cloud Environments
• Strong track record of delivering large scale front-end applications
• Experience with data visualization technology a plus
