What you will be doing, your legacy:
- Security Monitoring & Incident Response: Monitor security alerts, investigate potential incidents, and respond in a timely manner using SIEM tools and other security platforms.
- Vulnerability Management: Participate in vulnerability scanning, assessments, and support remediation efforts by coordinating with relevant teams.
- Endpoint Security: Assist in the deployment, management, and monitoring of endpoint detection and response solutions (EDR).
- Threat Hunting: Proactively search for indicators of compromise (IOCs) and potential threats within the network, leveraging threat intelligence and security tools.
- Documentation & Compliance: Help in maintaining and updating security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies through ongoing training and development
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience using SIEM tools for security monitoring and incident detection.
- Understanding of security protocols, networking, operating systems and cryptography.
- Familiarity with alerting systems, ticketing systems and triaging security incidents.
- Understanding of vulnerability management processes, including scanning and remediation.
- Knowledge of antivirus software, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.
- Practical experience in programming/scripting languages like Python, Bash, Powershell, etc.
- Upper intermediate spoken and written English level.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong self-motivation and orientation toward results.
Desired skills or interests in:
- Practical experience working in an agile environment.
- Knowledge of information security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, CIS Critical Security Controls, etc.), and related security principles for risk identification and analysis.
- Certifications in security, networking and/or cloud environments.
